Cycling (Stationary): 30 mins. @ 7:30 p.m.

Heart Monitor Data: 252 cals, 62% MHR avg., 71% MHR max.

Following my Tuesday evening run, I felt a slight twinge in my right ankle which has been followed by two days of aching and cracking(?). Rather than risk exacerbating any possible injury, I took the day "off" from training yesterday with the intention of running this evening. The ankle continues to hurt and "crack," so instead of a run today, I opted to ride the "basement bicycle."

The hope is to return to light running tomorrow morning, which will serve a dual purpose: 1) to allow a transition from late night training to early morning running and 2) to test the ankle in anticipation of a possible 5-20k race this weekend on either the rail or road.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
