Run: 7.5 miles in :61:26 min. @ 7:10 p.m.

Weather Report: Light Rain, 48°F, 95% Humidity, Winds: SE @ 7 mph; feels like 45°F.

Heart Monitor Data: 886 cals, 85% MHR avg., 91% MHR max.

A nice slow run through sheets of light rain this election eve, but I find myself feeling kind of rudderless and grey, so I thought I'd share the "Poem of the Day" from Poetry.Com:
A Fallen Angel Talks to God

Pale dissatisfactions block the sides,
and I see watery eyes under their curtains,
trapped in changeling dreams.
There are waves of dark intensity,
but if I fly,
I could see misfortune's face and smile.
It is despite love, my love.
Sing me a song for sleep,
and wane the winds.
I am driftwood in the sky,
uncaring of breathless space or useless ground.
There are better wings than this.

There is something "okay" in the comfortable energy that comes from a reflective, rainy run taken with melancholy poem chaser...

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
