Race Preview: Freezeroo #2

Coming up tomorrow, January 1, is the first race of the new calendar year and the second in the Freezeroo series. So far, assuming I make it to the run tomorrow, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will be two-of-two, and on my way to reaching my goal of finishing all six races in the series.

In last year's Freezeroo Race 2, the Mendon 7.5 mile New Year's Resolution Run, I placed 46th out of 294 runners, 42nd out of all Male finishers, and 10th out of 26 finishers in my age group (M 35-39) with a time of 0:52:57. The course is simple psychologically, without a lot of twists, turns, overlapping legs or figure eights--it is the much more preferable large loop type of run. The only unkind element is the occasional rolling hills, especially at the last mile mark at which point runners move up a steep(ish) incline, before beginning the descent through the finish chute.

I am looking forward to see what it is I'm able to bring to the table this calendar year, beginning with the run tomorrow...

Embrassez votre été invincible!
