Big Belly Weekly Weigh-In

After a week of watching more closely what I ate, and spending a few days carefully logging everything I ate, I woke up this morning, looking not-to-forward to my "official" weigh-in. When attempting to track my weight, I generally like to use Monday morning's as my weigh-in time so that I am taking full advantage of the benefits of my weekend long-run, as well as, any races, and their impact on my calorie loss. Unfortunately for me, it also means I might see the negative impact of the two bowls of chocolate ice cream I ate last...

I got lucky this morning. At 5:30 a.m. I weighed in at 186.5 lbs., a decrease of 1.5 lbs,. from the week prior. I guess the ice cream had not had yet a chance to settle, so now the hard part is not stepping on the scale three times a day, see the increase-decrease-increase pattern one goes through in a day and having it drive me kooky.
