An early morning because I needed to exercise following a late night snack of cereal and also because I was anticipating that additional time would be needed to scrape the ice and snow off of our car windows before leaving for work. This morning's training ride went particularly quickly, and physically, had I more time, I definitely could have gone "further." I would attribute most of the ease related to the ride to my companion: the young adult historical fiction novel My Brother Sam Is Dead by Collier and Collier. Thank goodness for the trainer or I would probably never find the time or motivation to get into the book before starting it with my students (along with two other books) in a little less than a week from today.
