T-Shirts: Out with the Orange

Updating a non-story from yesterday, the organizers of last evening’s St. John's Fishes & Loaves 5k run provided an opportunity for local runner’s to clean out their closets and “recycle” some of their t-shirts… At some point last Spring, a distributor somewhere must have been deep discounts on orange t-shirts. No less than four of the t-shirts I offered up were orange in hue, and not just orange but bright, honking ORANGE!

As much as each run was a pleasure to participate in, a couple I even did so well as to place in my age group, I can’t say I’m sorry to see them move on… hopefully they will find a more understanding… and orange-friendly… home.

Fortunately for moi, the complementary cotton t-shirt from last night's run was a subtle off-white I left my color wheel at school!) color with a great illustration on the front which appears to have been drawn by a young person. Both elements (hue and graphic) were quite appealing, and combined to created a t-shirt I will be keeping in my wardrobe for a while...

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
