Veggie Garden Update

The garden as it appeared back on June 18, the day after the plants were placed in the earth!

It's been just about a calendar month since we planted our vegetables (a variety of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers), and though they have grown larger, except for a few wax peppers and some small flowers on the cucumbers, there has been little progress toward flowering--presumably to be followed by vegetable maturing. It has been a tremendously dry summer so far, but we have been diligent watering and weeding the garden in hopes that things our bounty will be more fruitful this year as opposed to last years paltry harvest.

Based on the following picture, you can see that that things have progressed (and I have endeavored to hoe and remove extraneous weed growth regularly), we still await that "BOOM!" of flowering...

KAPOW! Our backyard garden this morning, July 16, at 12:00 p.m..
