Bicycling (from Yanni?): 8.6 miles in :35:30 min. @ 10:30 a.m.

Weather: Partly Sunny, 72°F, 52% Humidity, Winds: SSW @ 5 mph; feels like 72°F.

Pace: 4:08 min./per mile avg.

My neighbor's have been in the process of having their garage and house painted over the past two weeks. The painter (yes, singular) has been painstakingly removing the old layers of paint using a large heat lamp. While he is working (which by my count has been every two to three days) he listens to CDs. This is not unusual; when I painted houses during a brief period of unemployment, the chain gang I worked on listened to the radio, too. Bear, the foreman on the crew I worked on, selected the stations to be aired, mostly classic rock. The man painting right outside my front window right now is listening to Yanni CDs.

The smell of burning paint mixed with the surreal tinklings of New Age piano has me thinking maybe it's time to go for a bicycle ride.

Later in the day, Anne and I went for a run, too!

Weather: Cloudy, 72°F, 53% Humidity, Winds: SSW @ 4 mph; feels like 78°F.

Run: 2.2 miles in :25:00 min. @ 6:30 p.m.
Pace: 11:21 min./per mile avg.

Breathe in, breathe out... YOU AND I ARE ALIVE!
